A collaborative technology is a tool that enables individuals to jointly engage in active production of shared knowledge.

Web 2.0

Web 2.0, a phrase coined by O'Reilly Media in 2004, refers to a supposed second generation of Internet-based services (such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies) that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users. O'Reilly Media, in collaboration with MediaLive International, used the phrase as a title for a series of conferences and since 2004 it has become a popular (though ill-defined and often criticized) buzzword among technical and marketing communities.

Wiki

Wikis are frequently used to allow people to write a document together, or to share reference material that lets colleagues or even members of the public contribute content.

Wiki

Le wiki est un site conçu selon le principe du blog. Mais, contrairement au blog, qui est le plus souvent l'oeuvre d'un seul auteur, un wiki est ouvert à un nombre illimité d'utilisateurs, qui peuvent contribuer à la rédaction du contenu, modifier ce contenu et l'enrichir en permanence. Le wiki est utilisé par exemple pour créer des dictionnaires et des encyclopédies à vocation communautaire ou encore des sites d'information sur un sujet donné. Le programme présent derrière l'interface d'un wiki est plus ou moins élaboré. Un programme simple gère du texte et des hyperliens. Un programme plus élaboré gère des images, des tableaux, des jeux, etc.
